Post Marathon Note: This event may be over, but the fight to find a cure to blood related cancers is neverending.  If you would like to make a contribution, please contact me.  I will be continuing on with the LLS TNT for 2005-2006 events and welcome any donations that will help with this great cause and assist me in meeting my minimum future fundraising requirements.  Thank you for your friendship and continued support ~ Tai

Stephani and I are involved with a very special organization: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training Program.  Team in Training is a fundraising and a marathon training program that will prepare us, along with our other teammates, for the challenges of running a mararthon while fundraising for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

A marathon?  We're talking 26.2 miles here my friends!  Why a marathon?  Quite honestly, because we can.  Stephani and I are both blessed with good health as well as the good health of our family and friends.  We both realize how fortunate we are.  We are doing this to make a difference.  We are doing this to help someone other than ourselves.  We are doing this because we are ready, willing and able.

What Marathon are we training for?  The San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon!

One of America's Fastest, Most Picturesque Courses!  This is one of America’s outstanding courses. Designed by Frank Shorter and Steve Scott in concert with the city of San Diego, the course passes many San Diego highlights. The marathon starts in historic Balboa Park, dashes through Hillcrest, skirts the World Famous San Diego Zoo, runs through the downtown Gaslamp District, travels up Highway 163 (voted America’s most scenic urban highway), races by Sea World, sprints around San Diego beach and bay communities and finishes at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Point Loma.
